We are delighted to announce that Rhys Kemish has agreed to join our social media team. Rhys has just finished a sports media degree at the University of Chichester. During his time at university, he worked as the social media officer at Chichester City FC producing all of their match day highlights, interviews and general social media content. Rhys produced all of the social media content during the club's historic run in the FA Cup where they faced Tranmere Rovers in the second round.
Rhys commented on his appointment, 'I played for Melksham Town Youth from the age of 7 until I was 16 and came back to play for the B team when I was 19 years old. Melksham is a club that I know well and have been impressed with how far they have come in the last few years. I'm looking forward to working for my home town club and to gain more experience in the industry that I eventually plan to work in full time and hopefully I can play my part off the field in helping raise the profile of the club.
Chairman, Darren Perrin commented, 'We are delighted to welcome Rhys as part of the black and yellow family. We appreciate how important social media is to football clubs and by Rhys coming on board this will enable us to become even more professional in our content to you- our supporters and our other followers. We are excited to be able to share match day highlights of as many games as possible and other new match day experiences such as interviews etc. We are also delighted, as a community club, to be able to appoint a Melksham lad to take on this important role within the club. Good luck, Rhys!
