Melksham Town FC can confirm that Craig Kent has resigned from his position as manager of the Reserves. The Club would like to thank Craig and his back room staff- Chris Baxter and Steve Armstrong for their efforts in the past 18 months.
Chairman, Darren Perrin commented, 'Craig, Chris and Stretch have worked tireslessly and professionally in their time at the club and all three of them will always be welcome back at the club whenever they want. We wish them all the best and thank them massively for their contribution to MTFC.'
Craig Kent commented, ' I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the players who have worked with me and my team. I really hope you all kick on and have successful careers in local football. Some true friends for life and some great memories together.
Also a huge thank you to so many great people at MTFC and to the managers Rich Fey and Lewis McMullen for their great support and collaboration between all three sides. Also a massive thanks to Rich Fey for giving me the opportunity to stand on the touch line against my own club, Swindon Town Fc. Finally, a thank you to Melksham Town for giving me the opportunity to manage at such a great club. I will contact many more individuals over the following week to thank them personally.'
